    Wing Mirror Replacement.

I've had the door cards off 3 different Puma's and never had one of the screw rusty, make sure you have the correct size Torx bit. I normally find Torx screws fairly easy to remove, but have had the odd one causing problems, usually removed using the next size up and hammering it in or a hex...

    Wing Mirror Replacement.

As far as I know the door mirrors are Puma specific, second hand ones do come up for sale occasionally. Which screw are you having problems with, the middle one is a Torx, T40 (I think) and the handle escutcheon and the lower ones are Phillips/Pozidrive no. 2, I've never had any problems...

Just 2 Puma's at this evening's Gaydon Gathering at the British Motor Museum . The Old_gimmer brought along his lovely FRP and I took my Red Puma. It's usually a good meeting, always on the 2nd. Tuesday of the month from April to October, tickets are FREE, but you need to book. I usually post...

Hook Norton Classics this Sunday 12/05/24

John, the reason they ask us to put our phone numbers on the car,at Hooky ,is incase your blocking someone in, if there was someone interested in talking to you about the car and of course if you were to win the best in show. The personal message is perfectly Ok, as it's just a communication...

Vehicle Wanted Looking for a Puma to take rallying! (Any model/variant)

This ZR is used locally for rallying, I'm told it's goes really well, but I think a Puma is a better car, I'm biased of course. My friend Kevin Leek does Targa rallies in his, as well as Chris Jones locally, as well as quite a few nationally. Puma's are also quite popular for auto tests, the...

Hook Norton Classics this Sunday 12/05/24

John it was really good to see you both yesterday, very impressed with your lovely Puma, makes mine look a bit rough, but it's my daily driver, my other one is kept garaged. Be good if you could make it to the Old Ford rally at Gaydon on the 21st. if July.

Hook Norton Classics this Sunday 12/05/24

We had 3 Puma's at today's meet at Hook Norton Classics, Plasbryb with his absolutely mint Red Puma, Rob and Joe Peebles with the silver Thunder and I took my Red Puma, plus Kevin Leek was there on his BSA Bantam, instead of his rally Puma, so 4 Puma owners. Over 200 cars attended and it was...

    Gearbox Drain plug.

As far as I'm aware, there was not a drain plug. When Chris Allison did my major service including the gearbox he drilled and tap a drain plug, I think it may have been M12. If you want, I'll try and find the photo later.

    Headlight adjuster not doing anything

I don't think you'll find any relevant information on this forum, as its for the original Puma's manufactured from 1997 to 2002. Try something like https://www.pumaforums.co.uk/

Vehicle Wanted Looking for a Puma to take rallying! (Any model/variant)

I found my last one on eBay, went to view it and found it was very solid underneath, they put it over and inspection pit, so made an offer that was accepted, the other 2 were just chance encounters, one was me just admiring the car in a supermarket car park.

Vehicle Wanted Looking for a Puma to take rallying! (Any model/variant)

Good luck, hope you can find a suitable car. My friend Kevin Leek uses a Puma for Targa rallies, he's on his 2nd. one, the first had terminal rust, so that's something to be aware of. Prices are all over the place, there is usually quite a few on Facebook marketplace and specific Puma selling...

    Rotten E10 fuel

Be aware that there are 3 different types of fuel pump/sender units, which if the wrong one is fitted will cause the fuel gauge to read incorrectly, when I had the Thunder the previous owner had fitted the wrong unit and the fuel gauge wouldn't go below 3/4's , luckily he'd given me the original...

    MOT test pass certificates axed:

If you're at Hooky next weekend, I'll introduce you to him, he's a really great guy and a very good friend, but anything with modern technology, he's lost, I've offered to show him what to do, but he just isn't interested.

    Rotten E10 fuel

Have you checked that the fuel pump is working ? Apparently a common failure after a time of no use. You should be able to hear it for a couple of seconds when you turn on the ignition. You can check if fuel is getting to the fuel rail, by depressing the Schrader valve on the left hand side of...
