Ford Puma - 'the exhilarating drive'

I finally replaced the old lumpy Pirelli's on the front of my Puma last week and got to take it out for a 70 mile drive around the Sauth Wales Valleys yesterday, god it was enjoyable! What I love about the Puma is that it's handling is great and it has enough power for fun but it's not "too...

    Do Puma's have floor bungs?

I'm still sourcing the leak for the wet drivers footwell but all this rain we are having is just getting ridiculous, so as a short term fix to at least save some of the water storing up, is there a bung anywhere in the drivers footwell?

    Water leak into drivers footwell

Thank guys. Whats the best way to check the door seal? Pour water over the door area with someone inside the car?

    Water leak into drivers footwell

Interesting development. Look at the pic below, the matt is only soaked towards the back of the footwell (closer to the driver). You cen see the dark patch is between the rubber heel reast area of the mat and the seat. Seeing as to me this area is higher then the very front of the footwell, and...

    Water leak into drivers footwell

Thanks Frank, I'll try it!! Though first if someone can illustrate what 'seam' I am looking for behind the water bottle I'd be grateful.

    Water leak into drivers footwell

Slay, how much work was it to remove the washer bottle and get to this seam? Do you have to remove the intermediate bulkhead panel too?

Is it worth saving? cost me £400 - 130,000 miles -showing it

When I have this to play with, the Puma does seem rather slow and spongy ;)

Is it worth saving? cost me £400 - 130,000 miles -showing it

+ 10,000 Welcome, Puma owners are always welcome but without trying to be 'that guy' I have to re-iterate what others say on here. Don't be a cock on the roads and posts like above don't really impress anyone. If you got a powerslide on at 70mph it was luck, not skill that saved you. That...

    Indicator/wiper stalk for sale.

Removed from an S-reg 1.4 Puma. I thought it would fit my T reg car but it must have the intermitent wiper option with it, therefore no good. If you car HAS the intermittent option then this is the stalk for you! Clean and tidy, with cancelling indicators working. The only blemish is the hazard...

    My new Puma

Hi Mike, Apologiies only just seem this. I am lucky that mine was pretty good anyway and was just carbonated on the end. I know what you mean and I think yours has a different endcap as I;ve seen a few that are basically just rust. I used a Brillo pad on mine and then polished it with silver...
