hi have a leak on aircon pipe at the bottom do i have to replace the whole pipe or can i change just the damaged part of pipe have 2001 1.6 puma

i have tried to sync remote contol key with car , after 4 turns of the key get the bleep but ,pressed button , nothing happens , where in the car is the syncing module in car maybe i need to replace , any ideas ,, have 2001 , 1,6 puma
