Hello, Thanks for the replies, and yes the pump has a different earth wire position compared to the original. Thankfully my mechanic kept the old pump and can see the sticker on the top with the code: ys6udd. I'll make sure a new pump has this on top. Cheers.

Hello, I've been looking online (euro car parts) for a new air filter for my 1.7. However, it says they're different sizes for some odd reason? Anyone have an idea why that is? (same goes for spark plugs) Thanks.

I had more or less the same issue just this week! Thankfully as Frank said, cleaning the contacts on the number bar solved it. I thought the unit had went and would need to buy another. :-(
