I went down the uni chip road. I was getting 141hp with 421 manifold and full piper frp replica exhaust. Frp cams. Puma speed remap and mondeo t/ body and ported std inlet. Decided to get uni chip and live map. Ended up with 155 hp and 136 foot pound torque.. was happy with that..
I know its only a quick fix but my friend with the car lift is just out of hospital and I dont want to be bothering him for the lift to pull out the manifold and wrap it at this point in time...
Thanks
Lads just had the puma on the dyno yesterday and destroyed the steering column shroud...I know i should of heat wrapped the exhaust manifold before I installed it...
Well question is: is there a way I can protect the plastic shroud in case I need to put it on the rollers again...
I dont fancy...
Im running the same and cant fault them at all..... Apart from replacing them every 2 yrs.... small price to pay to keep it on the tar... they stick well to the road all year round ...
no it wont work..You will need the one without the fag lighter...
I tried it myself on a 98 puma and if I remember correctly the top 3 dials worked fine but the a/c and recirculation switches are wired up differently...
I`d recommend the puma speed remap... I have an older puma(98) with a MUFF ecu.. The re map cancelled out the torque limiters in 1st and 2nd gears and give it the same fuelling as a frp map...
I was well impressed with it. Well untill i fitted frp cams and a frp gearbox, frp air box mod...
