    Is this MPG right?

She's getting better than that about town, I'm a firm beleiver that a large engine doesn't need to rev as much as a little one, so uses less fuel there, though 1.4s and 1.6s were the happy medium, and my Coupe mpg has gone up with all the tuning as it rarely sees 3000 rpm anymore. Maybe we...

    Is this MPG right?

Its recently had a service, new plugs, leads, oil filters, and cambelt. Not sure what mpg it should be, but I know it should be more than a heavier car with a tuned 2.0 engine, although driving style can come into it, I can cruise at a safe spped in the coupe without exceeding 2500rpm, save some...

    Is this MPG right?

My missus's 1.4 has been getting poor mpgs, usually around 34-35, ok all she drives is about town, and the only mod she has is an induction kit, however we both did the same trip at the weekend, aA-road and dual carriageway driving Lowestoft to Peterborough, she still only managed 36.3 from a...

    Modified Nationals - 28-30th May

Most of that crowd can't afford the entry fee, usually with the big shows like this they congregate near the gate, as they can't get in with the nice cars. Me and the missus are going, but I agree a lot of the cars there are not my thing, although most of the drivers there will be the majority...

Sports Personality of the Year 09!

I know results wise no rugby players can be considered, but anyone who saw the last 2 Lions tests must agree Simon Shaw should have been considered.

    Mates Puma Vandalised

My mates Puma was attacked last night, paint scratched, petrol cap snapped off, tyres deflated and dustcaps nicked, and rear wiper bent. So she's needing a new rear wiper and petrol cap in a hurry. Anyone know where to get them, and are they the same as the fiesta part?

    Puma's everywhere in Lowestoft

I know thats how you brought it, my mate was considering buying it. I live behind rainbow, so its possible one of the silver ones was my missus (hers got 17" BBS alloys and oval puma badges instread of Ford ones) my mates one is also silver, got blue leds under doorhandles, often parked in...

    Puma's everywhere in Lowestoft

Theres quite a lot of them near me, so I'll just mention the standout ones, see if any of them belong to members on here. Theres a similar one to my missus's, silver 1.6 with Led doorhandles, but I know who that is, but theres also a silver one with body kit, playboy numberplates, often parked...

    Squeal when we pull away

Its very breifly just as the clutch pedal is released.

    Squeal when we pull away

Not alternator belt, different sound, and alternator belt squeals when you start the engine, and once the engine was warmed up its doesn't squeal. This happens all the time, even after a long run.

    Squeal when we pull away

Both me and my Fiance have noticed a squeal when accelerating, doesn't happen in 1st gear, but get it in both 2nd and 3rd. Sounds like wheelspinning, but only does it for a second or two, then is ok again.

    Newby

Wheels came with the car, kills me to say it (I spent 2 times what my cars worth on my car) but the missus did buy it not build it.

Im from Lowestoft, and although my car is a Hyunda Coupe, the missus has a 1.4 Puma which I enjoy driving, realy think its the perfect car for anyones missus, as you can enjoy it, but give it back when your mates say its girly. :-) Aside from cars my main hobby is rugby (Im a prop so me getting...
