    Longest Owned Puma?

Oh, just remembered - there was a very annoying rattle from the depths of the passenger side door - I kept putting off looking at this but finally last week I had had enough. Whipped the door card off, and a one penny piece dropped onto the floor. That's right - for nearly 5 years I had been...

    Longest Owned Puma?

Hi everyone - long time since I updated this, but my Puma is still with me, still going strong. Last year I had the rear arches cut out and the Peugeot arch trick was performed - all the under body rust was cut back, and a full respray, and stone-guard treatment, topped off with new waxoyl...

    Horn Relay / Wiring Diagram

To complete this thread, I found an online Fiesta wiring diagram, and this indicated there is no relay in the wiring for the horn. I disconnected the horn and tried pressing the horn push, and sure enough I could not hear a relay clicking. So I have now installed a new fused relay for the...

    New Puma 2

    Lighter socket not deep enough

Mine's a 2000 car as well, and some 12v plugs with power adaptors built in to them seem too long, they almost struggle to not fall out. Looking at the socket it is a bit short, in fact 'less deep' than some sockets I have seen on our cars. Clearly Ford fitted a less deep socket for the car in...

    Turbo charging project

Love the engine start button!!! Is that a Ford part off the new fiesta - or a Honda S2000 button? Can you help with what you did to wire it up? Thanks!!

    Horn Relay / Wiring Diagram

I want to upgrade the puny horn on my Puma Nov 2000 1.7 I have searched this forum and google, but can't locate a wiring diagram, or get a clear view of this. Does the Puma have a relay in the horn circuit? Can I fit high current draw horns without fitting a new relay or will the existing one...

    Longest Owned Puma?

Clemo, You have pipped me to the post! Excellent, in all the cars I have owned, I confess often I would often swap them as I got bored rather than having to swap. But this Puma is never boring, and a short or long trip is a pleasure.

    Longest Owned Puma?

thanks everyone, I do like this car, it's such a great drive. Mike - I think my mileage is lower than you as I work abroad, so the Puma does sit around alot, sometimes in a garage, but mainly in all those 11 years she is outside. I do always keep her well maintained though. Having said that...

    Longest Owned Puma?

Longest Owned Puma? Hi everyone, I have been a long time lurker - loving the modified Pumas on here - some great ideas. I wonder - am I the owner with the longest owned Puma? I purchased my 1.7 Lux Moondust Silver Puma in November 2000 brand new with 1.7 miles on the clock. I have...
