As you said your self. i keep knocking mine ot and would prefer it to be out of way and hard mounted/ Wired. My plan is using the aircon switch or air recycler switch for this purpose. Even more so as the ciggy lighter is live 24/7 so there would not be a drain via the sat nav adapters light...

just smells petroly from the exhaust wondered if there was any other sensors to this other than lambda. in fgcat is the hego the same thing ?

park the car and strong smell of fuel it definatley coming from exhaust. any ideas any other sensor that adjust fuel flow apart from lambda sensor? only asking as just replaced it

Also have one Lambda Sensor for sale has the wrong plug on it for mine. mine is a circe fitting and the replacment one i have is a square with a curved top and four pins. if anyone is interested

ok Just for the info all done now and car passed its mot just Emmisions still a bit close but she passed. Ok have had a full diagnostics and all that cam up was a lazy Front LAMBDA sensor. so i know i have to replace that and possibly the cat due to it being killed by wrong fuel reading etc...
