    Puma Thunder

Hmmm... I'm starting to think that I've actually priced this a bit low - people keep emailing and asking what is wrong with it! :? Oh well. As an update, I've added a bit of history to my ads on other sites: Main costs, as completed by Ford Dealership, are: May 2013/73017 miles -...

    Puma Thunder

Price reduced to £700 as new car has arrived. PM if interested.

    Puma Thunder

Haha! Such is the way of things. Hopefully it will appeal to someone here, hence the low price on the forum. It's bizarre, but I have to admit to getting a bit attached to my cars, and this one certainly has done that, so I'll be sad to let it go. Maybe it's to do with the memories and...

    Puma Thunder

Well, here's something I never thought I'd be writing. Due to a change in work, I have to sell my Puma Thunder. Anyone who has read my posts will know how much it has had spent on it, with all repairs and servicing done by Ford themselves. It is pretty much as standard, with nothing modified...

Endangered species - How many left figures out

This is one of the big problems, I think, Richard - Parts replacement. On one of my last repairs even Ford didn't have the OEM Parts for the Handbrake. There are still quite a few Pumas around, but they will fall away quickly without assistance keeping them on the road. Even mine - I've spent...

    Rear wiper delete

No idea in truth, Gannon, but... at the risk of removing one of the original aspects of the car, it's something I'm thinking about if/when I get the rear arches sorted on mine. I never use the rear Wiper and purely from an aethetic point of view I think it looks like a bit of a carbuncle on the...

    Wheel arches - again...

I'd be interested - but I also need the Inner Arches, too. I keep looking on the Expressed Steel Panels website to no avail... but they did say later in the year when I contacted them recently. Maybe they are still gauging interest, but I'd have hoped they were some way down the manufacturing...

    Bored again

That's pretty damned good. When my plastic screw-cover broke I tried to get one from Ford - £6!!! I re-stuck it back in with some sticky tape, and it's remained there to this day!

    140mph in a Puma?

 I did hit an indicated 125mph on that very same private road (Anglesey, wasn't it?) very early one quiet morning. I was actually trying to get to Pwllheli, but missed the sign and ended up at the ferry terminal on Anglesey... hence the slight rush back to the mainland to rejoin the rest...

    140mph in a Puma?

That's true, of course. Probably came from how fast the police had to go in order to catch the speeding Puma. Not unreasonable to have to do 140mph to catch a 120-125mph car. Doesn't, of course, mean the Puma was doing 140 though...

    Aftermarket Seats

They are, Rob. Barry did a superb job with them. Millie Recaros are hard to come by now, though - I tried Barry's out and can confirm they are certainly better than the seats in my Thunder.

    140mph in a Puma?

https://www.nottinghampost.com/news/nottingham-news/police-chased-car-doing-140mph-1587927 OK, own up - it was you, wasn't it... I hope the idiot gets taken to task, but rubbish reporting. 140mph???

    Fiesta ST 2018

I bet what she really thought was "I hope it's a grower..." Back in the 1980s (as per the video), the Mercs and BMWs were genuinely premium brands (even Opel had a better image than Vauxhall) - and thus out of reach of most of the car-driving blue collar workers, so at least the likes...

New to Puma just bought Millennium 607

Ooooh... 'Ford collection'. 8-) As A Ford fan, that sounds very interesting. Can I ask what else you have?

    2018 - Films

Ready Player One - also saw that recently and was surprised to find I quite enjoyed it. Red Sparrow was a bit run-of-the-mill, but quite violent in places. It was worth sticking with for a twist at the end, though. The Lethal Weapon series is pretty good - took a little time to get...
