I got a bit pissed off after missing my turn off and with no satnav I was driving blind for a bit and no where sells bloody road atlas's anymore = at 8.30 I was still on the M180 so had at least 40 mins more driving and...
really really miffed as I was supposed to be at that track day but things conspired against me and I didn't make it on time so 3 hours driving for nothing - suffice to say the car I ws going to drive was the little green Pumesta that crashed into the barrier at the Gooseneck and was written off...
Barry, yes thats trade price but I believe non trade is around the £65 mark - seats are pretty good and yes I agree obviously a pod repair - will be doing it properly later on
G - Whizz - not done anything else yet you are up to date as to where I'm at - I need to get it reliable on the clutch...
haven't tried it or checked acually ordered it from Andrew Pages via the reg number but as you say its an easy fix - I suspect its a Fiesta tank at that price.
Car is really solid all round - there is a lot of light surface rust underneath but light enough that you can just wire brush it off by...
wow, mine aren't bad - I'm thinking just get some dye on the faded bits and it will be good as they haven't split - I do have a friend who is a vehicle upholsterer if the worst happens
Barry, came across this Milly as an MOT failure - £300 but has a private plate worth £500 - all it needs for test is a front coil spring and a fuel tank plus two very very small holes in the rear inner arch - usual spot Fuel tank arrived today for £48 and I have the spring all ready to fit this...

Pumajay - you have seen the Facebook updates lol - Brian' thanks very much - its all about setting it up now cage is the next bit to get sorted although I am currently painting the ST brake calipers after a full refurbish

Started it last July I think - we are up to date now so anything after the last post is new stuff
I solved the power steering pump issue by making a bracket and adding a bearing pulley .
One issue I didn't really take notice of but did happen a couple of times was not being able to select gears - this was not a problem when driving the car daily or to the track but the next time on track it...

I decided to fit bonnet raisers and certainly day to day driving these made a big difference. Out on track I was hoping there would be enough airflow to keep those temps down.
So we went to Croft and...
