    Fuel pump problem?

    Hi can anyone help? I have owned my puma for 9 years, the past six months it seems to be loosing power at times and then suddenly kicks in again?? also sometimes i'll start the car and the fuel pump fuse will blow? leaving me stranded! does anyone have any ideas? do i need a new fuel pump? if so...
