If you really want to keep it long term then initially I would get under there with some ACF 50.Buy a couple of bottle of it with a hand sprayer .This will stop anything getting worse.Spray it everywhere and use a brush to make sure you cover everything that's rusty.Dont get it on the pads or discs!...

Been thinking about this post again.Why did I stop checking build costs?.I remember now,when I started the rebuild on my old Jag the first thing I did was a complete refurb of back subframe which consists of suspension ,brakes and diff(this was about 1996).Finished it after a few months and checked...

Ok spoke to Furnitureclinic and yes same paint/dye leather or vynyl(just prep vynyl with a supplied primer)so thats the way to go.Thanks

Getting a bit pissed off trying to buy a set of Front millie seats so i can convert passenger seat to drivers seat.So enquired about partial retrim.Was told that the only way they can guarantee colour match vynal to leather is to do whole of back in leather then stain the lot to match.Question anyon...

From my experience I think you would do best initially to prep car for reliability,cambelt,fluids etc.Get some decent road tyres ,upgrade front brakes and get loads of driving instruction wherever you compete.With a good instructor you can knock a few seconds off a lap time.Car mods give far less re...
