363556 ps tommorow im taking the indicator switch off and try without it on as got a feeling its that and i have a spare, Yeah, that's possible. What you describe is a binding or a 'resistance' on the steering and, as zinc mentioned, the steering lock is more of an on/off thing, as it has to be. I ...

363413 So can any locksmith code in a key. The guy I went to, and it was only a small shop, was using some hardware attached to a laptop to do the transponder side, so it's possible that not every/any locksmith can do that. Just phone around your local ones to check first, I reckon. I remembered af...

363392 Feck, I do hope that's not £2k down the pan. I'll get some more pictures. It had passed MOT (Y868 SJH) in November but it was the car dealers garage that MOT'd it. Why do I get the feeling I may be in for a shock when I get it independently MOT'd in November I don't know, why do you get that...

Puma Won't Start - Fuel pump Electrical Problem - Help needed Please.

363190 What the hell can it be and what can I test next? Usually, you'd put a multimeter probe on the suspect relay female connectors and see what you get. Here, though, you are likely looking at loose/broken connector and/or associated wiring, so the method is slightly different. - wreck out (remo...

363038 Thanks Frank! Sorry, can't find them. They are in the garage somewhere - the 4 wheel nuts and the key, all together in a bag..but no idea where. Don't know why I kept them (just because you do) - couple of years back, that 4th locking wheel nut took me almost 2 hours to get off and I swore I...

362962 I wouldn't approach the problem from inside - if the water has made it that far you're already in trouble. 100% agree with Ian on this. Plus, many car problems don't need car type solutions. There are a vast range of products around that are designed for flat roof leaks that can easily fix s...

I know, it's awful when you just clean forget about the really important things in life.

Glue a small flowerpot onto half a house brick and put it in the passenger footwell. :-P

Coolant - where did it go...?

362846 OK. Still no leaks. An hour later the car was purring away in my parking bay perfectly content, the engine now having run for the best part of 50 minutes. Still no leaks. In the absence of any obvious causes, the usual next step is to do a coolant pressure test. You'll then know 100% what's ...

362616 looks like I need to sort it with new metal apparently.. Nope, relax, you don't have the problem you think you have. Puma Expenses

I budget £500.00 a year for the Puma and that's to cover getting it through the MOT (not the cost of the MOT) and everything else. So, last time, it cost me £90 to get it through, so that leaves me £410 to spend on whatever I like on the car. I've run out of things to change/improve engine/suspensio...

Perspective. Both other cars are progressively further away from the viewpoint and therefore appear smaller. That's also why the fence behind appears higher at the left hand end. :-)
