Newbie - Chassis corrosion

I work in a very remote location and don't get internet on my phone finally saw the pictures and in all honesty unless the car is 100% mint and very low mileage with a solid clean interior bumpers etc I'd be looking to replace it

What are the prices of a puma in Ireland?

Twenty Years

361172 It can't be 20yrs of the Focus RS. 25yrs of Escort Cosworth yes. If Ford Fair aren't interested in celebrating 20yrs of the Puma they can ram it, I won't go. I'm not on Facebook but it appears that's where everyone is these days, most forums are dead aren't they. I won't be going on Facebook...

If it was me I'd strip it for spares and get a 1.7 to make the most out of the puma chassis

Mot time

If you do look at spending £400 on a place doing it and needing the car over night

I have worked for a chap and we used to pressure wash the full underneath of the car and with a 2 post lift leave overnight to dry or low bakenin the paint oven then rust proofer and a waxoil type product sprayed over

What budget have you set for the engine build?

Apart from thruxton and a few start/finish straights I don't see the point of the wing due to aero/mph/downforce needed to make it beneficial. Have you got lower strut braces fitted and a seam welded shell?

I brought one a while back for £2750 needing a full paint job. It drove great but was pants on fuel and I still think the mx5 handles better

There's a fit bird around the corner from me and she has one with the factory bodykit and it looks brilliant

Iv had 9 ka's I really love them. Sadly the 1.6 sport or even street (yes I had one of them too!!) are so under powered.

I regularly enjoy annoying 2.0ltr diesels in my puma
