Where abouts are you, at the right price I might be interested. Did you keep the original engine as I would be looking at doing a full restoration back to a standard car.

Puma 1.7 Rebuild Mk II

You leave the throttle cable bracket where it is and you use the existing Puma cable. However you have to take the throttle mechanism off the Puma throttlebody and use it to replace the one on the Mondeo Throttlebody otherwise the throttle cable won’t fit. Bit fiddly but just take your time as you d...

Hi Sorry to drag this thread up again. I was looking at replacing rings on my engine and was looking through the latest NPR catalogue and am a bit confused, you state that the rings need to be nitrated to be compatible with the Nikasil liners but not all the rings listed in the kits you say can be u...

Yes that’s it. From memory when I did mine you took the TPS of the puma throttlebody as it points in the direction needed to allow the connector to fit properly.
I might be wrong though my memory isn’t as good as it once was!!

If it’s a mondeo throttlebody surely it will have a mondeo TPS?
Do you mean you need a Puma TPS?

Keep your chin up it will be worth it when you finally get to put the loud pedal to the floor!!! :-D  Glad you are back on talking terms, never really understood the need for replacing the tappets. I have never come across a 1.7 engine that needed them replacing especially a...

Millennium plastic seat runner covers

Hi
I would be grateful if anyone has driver and passenger seat runner covers. I recently fitted the seats but the standard ones don’t now fit. I know I am asking a lot but could you millennium owners have a rummage in your parts bin before I try and adapt what I have got to fit
Thanks in advance

I would buy them all day long at £550, but as you say it’s a very different story when it comes to actually trying to buy one. I can’t remember the last time it saw one advertised for that, in fact the last one on eBay was over £800 if I remember correctly.

I fear you might need a bit more than £600, I managed to buy one recently that hasn’t ever been engraved with a number but it cost me more than £600 though.
Thought it might turn out to be an investment for the future as I am not sure how rare it is to not be numbered.

Hi I am looking at buying a set of coilovers (rear eye mount type) and a set of uprated Camshafts (FRP, Newman etc) but being a tight git  I wondered if a fellow member may just by luck have either sitting gathering dust in the garage and fancies cashing in on them just in time for Christmas.
