Market prices

Hi Practical Classics magazine have just added the Puma to their pricing list for 2019. Concurs/dealer price is £1850 going down to £500 for a project. I looked at 911's I used to own and wish I had kept them all. 1996 Carrera RS 3.8l £300k, 1973 Carrera RS Touring 2.7l £350k and 1969 2.2s £135k. :r...

Less than 6000 left in the UK

Hi I concur with this until in around 5 to 10 years speculators pile in buying up cars of their youth and price enthusiasts out of the market. :P 8-) Saw it happen in air cooled 911 car market over the last 5 to 7 years. I owned a 1969 2.2S for around 10 years until I sold it 2 years ago. Price went...

Hi Looked at Autotrader this morning and holy cow. Two cars at Oakwood one at 30k sold for around £4990 and a Thunder at 40k miles up for £4490. Then a block of cars in the £2.5k to £3.5k band. IMHO dealers are looking for the best cars right now as car quality polarises quickly as numbers diminish ...

Damp Garage...

Hi As suggested above it depends on the construction methods used to build the garage I had a garage with concrete floor, laid straight on the earth so no damp course, with single brick skin, corrugated roof and up and over metal door. The floor allowed moisture to rise up through it and the condens...

Hi, Every now and then I look at Autotrader and Pistonheads to see what Puma's are going for. Looking the other day there were 3 cars over £2k and one above £3k on Autotrader alone :!: :?: Either the trader has found a bargain or they are paying proper money to buy privately or at auction so maintai...

Hi, I have seen that EPS panels have just sent out some PR about doing a licence deal for Ford body panels. This is good and bad news. Hi, Welcome aboard. I bought my Puma about 2 years ago and the standard suspension has damping to die for. My counsel on the suspension is refurbish to new and standard and then go from there as the base set up is so good. The suspension and wheel combination is such a revelation over modern bling w...
