Speedo not working.

When it stops, does it drop to 0 or get stuck where it is?

Whilst the reg doesn't ring any bells, I'd expect most people that have touched a cup car have visited these doors!

What appears to be current Facebook ads on the group Due to unforeseen circumstances I’m having to sell my lovely Ford Puma. You’ll be buying from a genuine enthusiast who loves these little cars. This one is the ‘Thunder Edition’ and is the 9th but last one of the production line. Now it’s not perf...

Welcome to the site! Good luck with your search, I think I saw a Thunder come up for sale on the Facebook (FPOG) group over the weekend, if you aren't on there I could see if I can find the details? Actual meets used to be quite regular in the Peterborough area (I lived in Hampton when I owned my Pu...

Hello everyone!

8-) great introduction!

I'm quite interested by the Audi to Golf front end swap, What did that look like when complete?

Glad you're enjoying the site, it's mostly the appreciation like that that keeps it online after nearly 13 years.

Standard Front Shock Bump stop rubber

Is this the jasper? Seems to suggest it fits a Puma but would still check. It does as Grogee says seem to be a very generic part. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RUBBER-BUFFER-SUSPENSION-FOR-FORD-SIERRA-HATCHBACK-GBC-GBG-LSE-R2C-R6A-TOPRAN/352917442055?epid=1127047146&hash=item522b84ce07:g:1OUAAOSwxGBdMoj4

RIP The Lady

Sad times but not every one has a limitless pot to try and stop the decay.

I've the TDCi Zetec S MK2.5 and whilst not the most exciting car every, it certainly does it job well.

NEEDING HELP PLEASE

No worries. The Thunder was no different to any other 1.7 engine wise, even the modified Racing Puma 1.7 would have the same sump configuration I'd expect.

You could try contacting Ian G on here, he is one of the best sources of second hand spares. If it's just a leak then it may just need draining, unbolting, re-sealing and re-fitting. According to ->this post<- and some others , a gasket wasn't used there originally, only sealant. Maybe your garage d...

Off-road Puma advice

Have a spare HCV to hand, or some pipe so that it can be bypassed if it fails (common). General stuff like spare bulbs and fuses. Can't really comment on any of the conversion for rough terrain since I only used mine domestically but good luck, be good to see some pictures before and during the event.

Hello from the US

 that sounds like a good plan.

I've heard importing cars newer than 25 years is tricky, there were stories of people misrepresenting the age of Land Rover Defenders to try and get them over (as they looked pretty similar before and after the 25 year mark)

Puma starts, idles for 10 secs, then stumbles to a stop.

Did anything happen leading up to the issue or did it just start doing it one day?

I second getting the fault codes read and maybe live graphing to see what happens when it stalls.
