Child/Baby Seats

You can't use the same seat for a newborn that you would for a 3-12 year old. As Zinc says it would need to be rear facing and should go in ok but in my experience was quite awkward in the FRP because the seats didn't slide when tilted. Once in it worked fine though. I'd have thought the booster typ...

Updated look and feel!

I've checked the gallery configuration and it isn't possible (other than ZIP files which I don't want to allow) to upload anything other than image file extensions. A suggestion would be to create a topic either in the Knowledgebase or appropriate forum with some info, a descriptive title and then t...

Updated look and feel!

Ah, that's different, I've only just allowed PDFs in posts so it wouldn't have worked before.

I'm not sure about the gallery, it's not really what it's designed for but I can take a look.

Puma had a recent swim in floods...now its low idling, stalling and kangarooing

I can't offer much advice, my only experience of cars and deep water ended up with a seized engine in a ZS (not mine) so it sounds like you've avoided this which is positive. It's probably going to take a while for everything to dry out properly so maybe it will self right? There's many sensors whic...

Millennium build number.

To be honest, most of them probably didn't get a number, it wasn't a build number but more of a 'Millennium list' registration number, they were allocated by dealers on request for some reason.

Evening everyone, A friendly heads-up, I'm going to be working on the website over the coming days, I can't really be to specific in advance (since I have many other commitments) but I will have to take the site offline for a period of time. I intend to post here shortly beforehand so that people ar...

steering pulling right ?

^^Not that it matters which but is it pulling both left and right? I'd start by getting it tracked again somewhere else personally. I went to a certain national tyre and exhaust chain for two tyres and four wheel tracking on their hunter equipment and afterwards the car then pulled right way worse t...

1.4 starter project

It sounds good, but it was definitely changed. From my now rather hazy memory of the subject, initially it was MK3.5 Fiesta based and then moved to MK4.

I think the main concern was that the rear mat set wouldn't fit between models

Spam PMs

Yes the spam over PMs normally doesn't get sent to the moderation team for obvious reasons which means we'll likely miss these perpetrators unless they are reported.

1.4 starter project

Welcome to the site, nearly every physical part is interchangeable between a 1.7 and 1.4. It's normally model years that have the main differences, there were notable changes between the early circa 1997-1998 models and the 1999 onwards but there's no real definitive cut-over point. i.e. the floorpa...

Thunder engine.?

As above, it wasn't an option as such.

Also off the back of this there are a number of Pumas advertised as Thunders when they have none of the additional features.
