Plastic roof strip

If you really want it to stick. Get some window bond that they use to put windscreens in. Either use some really good tape to pull down or weights that wont slide off and smash the screen/paint

Puma’s Getting older... A few issues

I should take a picture but my rocker gasket is getting worse and just ejecting oil. When I cane the thing the pressure is just immense. You can clearly see the oil leak by looking over the top right end of the engine and see the telltale oil on the flat cut surface from the head. You can hear the o...

Thanks!
Sorted the rear wiper - contacts on the boot were dirty.
Someone modified mine I think by adding extra earths using the rear boot gas struts.
Unless someone has a picture of it being original I have no idea what the hell its for.

On the rear boot, get some scotch-brite-like material and make sure the rear copper contacts are clean. Otherwise like mine its the bonnet switch that is broke, I snapped mine taking the head off the engine.

Puma may make a return......

Really annoyed me. Hope it has nothing to do with their electrical vehicle lineup. If they made it light enough, with the handling surpassing the Puma along with a massive engine (tuneable) Then I would consider it at least worth a look. Whats with all these fake SUV shite in the EU car market...Pre...

Puma 1.6L Euro 4 compliance?

In England I have known local councils accept parkers information as valid if I remember correctly.

I never knew anything about the puma until September last yea-ish and jumped at the chance to buy one to upgrade from a SportKa. Suddenly I see them quite often and since i got mine a neighbour got one.

Puma 1.7 Rebuild Mk II

As far as I understand worn master and slave cylinder does change the clutch biting but its mostly just the clutch material wearing down to the rivets as the cylinder is having to extend more and more over time eventually grenading the clutch. Strangely my puma came with a terrible clutch but someho...

I got a ford clutch/slave straight from the factory in germany for less than europarts wanted (trade prices).
Hope you put some pictures up so I know what to expect when I do mine.

Typically gearbox oil leaks out pretty much most of the time when you take a driveshaft out, even when jacked up on one end. You may be driving it with too little oil...

Jeez, Paid £200 for mine with a headgasket gone, both rear arches wrecked and for some reason someone cut open under the passanger floor to get to the fuel sender and just put an asda plastic bag down to stop it cutting up the seat.

Puma for big boys?

I am 6ft and I just sit my arse forward and more relaxed in the seat. I also have the seat as far back as the rail allows. It feels roughly the same seating position as my KA Sport did.

Though with my thunder seats the leather doesn't offer much grip on my seat cover.
