also really interested in your gearbox swap - you'll end up being a pioneer!

The gearbox for my build is the number one power constraint/restriction stopping me cranking up the power even more :)

agreed, these little gems are now starting to become rarer. there is another thread discussion about trying to find other replacements cars that give the same feeling but its proving difficult in the same price range! for the looks, performance and price and raw driving feeling you cant beat the puma

okay so final post and the car/project is up to date now i had rebuilt the engine with uprated conrods, uprated clutch and also lowered the compression i cracked up the turbo boost from 6PSI to 16PSI! to say i was happy and the car was rapid would be and understatement! but it wasn't to last long. just a cheapy one off ebay - always wanted a spoiler for the Puma and decided when it was turbo'd it deserved one :)

the spoilers do finish off the back of the car IMO

359128 yes car is still going strong and alot has changed i just need to fully update the project thread - i will try over the next few days. agree with the above, you will need to shave calipers to fit any 15"

lots of progress!! managed to get the idle tuned in fairly well at the start of the week and tonight spent time with a mate as a passenger and i now have a decent base map so i can drive around town, boost and cruise safely, best of all i can apply 100% throttle :) its so awesome! next to do is dial...
