6 months has passed so time for a wee update: Cars been sitting since a brought my first house on 31st July and I shouldn't have been surprised I couldn't start it yesterday. With jump leads not the easiest with the battery in the middle of the car I searched amazon for a battery jump unit on 'prime...

My Puma.. Maximum Track Attack!!

I did a session at Trax years back when I was new into trackdays, know what you mean by a learning curve, the tracks quite intimidating and I was poodling along to begin and not using the full width of the track at all, looks like you went well! You at Ford Power Live on 22nd October at all at Snett...

Slightly in love with that wing, nice photos and updates, as far as getting air into the cabin I find my climair window air deflectors work great, lower both drivers and passenger window about inch and a half and you don't get any distracting air or noise but enough circulating to avoid much sweat.

362007 I'm sorry to bother but looking for some help regarding the Turini 16"s. What is the offset of the ones you have? I'm finding that the recommended for the Puma on 16s are between 34 and 38. Meanwhile I can only find Turini's with either 28 or 42. :/ Hi, wasn't ignoring your Q just hadn'...

Got the driver seat in, this took quite a bit of experimentation to get my position just right. I'm slightly higher now but that's down to the fact I made adjustment so I'm more upright than before (combined with practically new and better support cushions) I'm the perfect distance from the wheel al...

I said to myself this year will be the year I use the car on track more than ever but I haven't been out yet, trying to save to buy my first house doesn't help mind! Anyway tomorrow I'm going to get stuck in and work on the car. One major issue is no brake bias, was locking rears a lot at Rockingham...

Excellent write up bud! Love it when a plan comes together. Did you feel yourself being dragged round corners with the LSD? How much difference did it make or was the shorter ratio gearbox the thing that should out that gave you that vavavoom? This gives me motivation to get out in mine, I cant beli...

Very nice looking inlet mate only not the best quality so be careful if wanting to up the power further, my mate Steve (Steavie - PerformancePuma) tried one on his n/a 1.7 puma forged internals and LM5's, only dyno'd 160bhp unfortunately and blew a big hole in his LMS180 along with it!

Was going to be a bit of a smart arse before I read the comments below saying; orange paint dot for race, blue for track/fast road. I only know that as I emailed the company after receiving my used set as I didn't know which I had lol (blue for me) This project really is reaching new heights now! wi...

Looking nice, especally the bonnet. One question though: are you allowed to have those flaps when driving on public roads (danger to passengers and pets etc...)? Reasonable question, probably not but I'm not sure on them being 'illegal' they don't extend passed the front arches but can easily remov...

358807 Sorry to pester but what turbo and pistons/crank are you running? Lastly did you do the work yourself? I brought the engine as you see it in the photo recently (i.e without turbo) no forged internals but ran 180bhp. I'm not a mechanic/engineer so wouldn't attempt any work on it. I brought it...
