Any parcel shelf differences between years

There are only two part numbers for the shelf. Early cars with alchemy interiors and later cars with midnight. They are all the same shape so I think he’s having a laugh Gary!

Power Steering Pipe

Hi, you can still get them (assuming yours is an air con car) - but they are not cheap and you need a couple of unions that are another £30 for the pair.

Power Steering pipes rusted through

You’ll also need the unions for the end of the pipes as they are single use. You need 6742740 and 6772172. Daylight robbery at around £15 each!

Looking to buy - acceptable levels of rust?

That’s not the worst I’ve seen, and fairly typical or arch rot. The quarter panels are available from Ex-Pressed Steel Panels, but they are not cheap. Brilliant quality, but not cheap. They do full sills and will soon do the inner panel too. It’s the panels inside that are the problem. The ones you ...

That’s just an example of a head gasket kit and what you get - I tend to watch out and see when you can drop on a good deal for FAI. Sure I paid about £50 for a set a while back, got Barry one too

DOH - I’m talking about the head gasket kits that have everything in. The FAI one is really good - except the cam cover gasket (from said kit) which I’d junk

Vct seal/gasket

FAI, Elring or Adjusa are fine, others I can’t comment on Sorry XAF, but I have tried the FAI Rocker gasket it doesn't fit the cover properly around the inner loop of the cover (that is supposed to protect the spark plugs from oil), so avoid. He does say to junk the cam cover gasket and only use ge...

The part is 1031032 but is NLA from Ford last time I checked. If you are rebuilding your engine you’d be as well buying a full head kit that has everything in - just junk the cam cover gasket as you have to go genuine for that! https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fu...

Fuel tank

The vast majority of the aftermarket tanks don’t have the same shape swirl pot inside, and the sender unit gets caught so be very careful that what you buy will work.
