Fuel tank woes - suggestions?

As above, I thought all tanks were near enough the same apart from maybe slightly different inlet pipe angles.
My new aftermarket tank also had no fitting for the filter but a bit of heath robinson type engineering fixes that.

Btw welcome, where abouts in Outer Hebrides are you?

front wheel/s not turning

Before you throw the heavy stuff at it, pull the wheel off and check there is nothing stuck in the abs ring, rust/debris/dead animal etc
Failing that does sound as though the bearing has seized, big bar should move it but guess the bearing will be knackered

Peeling clear coat

If it helps guys, clear coat spray normally blends in very easily if done in several thin coats, did a repair on the c-max, could barely see the joins, leave a few days then lightly t-cut, job done

Apparently it is a red one, possibly 98 or 99 and lives in Ayr, which is handy because that is just 16 miles from me, gotta go looking

I hope this was nobody here

Those two truckers right at the start were a bit slow, could have stopped it just after the roundabout, impressive acceleration from the cop car though from the start and love the american style attempted spin from the second cop car, very risky over here

Lowest Mileage Minter? My New Project.....

Not sure if this will beat it or not as purely word of mouth A mechanic friend knows of an early Puma, possibly a 98, in Scotland that has only ever been out of the garage for its yearly MOT, then back into storage again, seems as though it has never yet reached its first service mileage!! Going dig...

Head Light Adjustment - FAILED MOT

Have just been through the new regs for the MOT, no mention of a fail for non working adjusters (of any sort) but.....if aim of dipped beam is incorrect it will fail, so once you have fitted/sorted new adjusters it will pass so long as the aim is correct. If your MOT station is saying otherwise, tak...

Just bought my first Puma!!! :)

Welcome, I am with Ian above regarding suspension, new bushes etc but otherwise leave alone, in standard setup with good tyres etc it will embarass a lot of more modern motors. My Millie has 130,00 on the clock, is 18 years old completely standard apart from poly bushed rear beam and it handles ever...

That is indeed a very old thread! regarding drilling/tapping, if you could access from inside the wheel arch (and I have not looked so no idea) would you need to tap anything? could you not simply bolt the hinge and the new backing plate together? effectively sandwiching the already strengthened are...
