or find a quite/empty road and slam the brakes on and see if it locks up? it takes more effort than you think.

has covered 63k now and is in really good nick.. no dents rust ect.. just need some nice weather to apply a bit of polish ect...

is your abs still working? also if you switch the car off and re-start do they remain on? my mondeo has done the same before but only if i have trigged the abs and had traction control activate a few times.. ie in the snow. ?
