How easy is it to change a wheel bearing over (front one)

The old filter had become very very rusty and am guessing it was just wear and tear due to the age of the filter, changed it over and has been running fine since touch wood!! :-)

Yay!! Managed to change it over..so far so good!! Should have been a mechanic really!! :grin:

so i think im ready to change the filter over...on your thread i read that the fuel will keep leaking out unless i bung up the pipe..but what do i use to do this and if i havent got a bung will it constantly keep leaking out until i fit the new one?? Sorry im such a novice when it comes to cars...

I figured it out it was a clip where one part pushes over the over and then fixes together that way (if that makes any sense) and was released with a screwdriver

HAve you any idea how to undo the clip that goes around the filter in the picture??

Will the new filter come with everything I need then? And how do I undo the clip around the filter

Heres what it looks like

i got under there with the engine running and its leaking from the inlet where it connects to the filter, was wondering if a washer has gone maybe?? the filter itself looks old and rusted though so would prob be good replacing it im guessing

im no mechanic so could you advise on how to check these things?

Had the same issue, started the car looked underneath and the filter is leaking, its at the point where the pipe going into the filter is, filter looks old and rusty so gonna replace and hope this solves the issue

When i drive along i seem to be hearing a deep turning noise sort of a Whoop. whoop, whoop whoop especially when im slowing down, sounds a bit like if you swing a rope/lassoo around your head ( not the most helpful explanation i know) just wondered if anyone had any ideas??
