    Buying ECU without transponder

wow blast from the past, how are you doing Tony, it’s been a long time mate  For the most part, one of the maps I can do is identical to FRP. But I can also tweak it, completely remove the rev limiters that are still partially there, I can adjust rev limiters to suit the build, and can...

    Buying ECU without transponder

Ah that’s cool, I’m only in Walsall, just you the road from you 8-) I do have ECU’s in stock but they are remapped, I don’t sell them stock. If your car has 2 lambdas it will just need the temperature gauge wire swapping over, it only takes a few mins to do, the most awkward job is removing...

    Buying ECU without transponder

Where about are you located mate, adding a key isn’t a problem providing the ECU is in good working order :ok:

    FRP Map On TAPE ECU

Yeah standard tape pops nice if you have a decat! 8-)

    FRP Map On TAPE ECU

Really sorry for the late reply. I can’t install the FRP map on the later ECU’s, I have a map for the later ECU’s but it’s not as good as FRP, and I can’t make it pop like the FRP or raise the Rev limit.

    FRP Map On TAPE ECU

I’m in Walsall West Midlands bud.

    FRP Map On TAPE ECU

Pumaspeed can sell you a device to upload the map, but it’s still stored on the ECU, not a separate plug in chip. The only company I know of that do it on a chip is superchips, will set you back about £300, although I’m not sure they still do it, they push the bluefin more now. And removing...

    FRP Map On TAPE ECU

You can get a plug in chip, and you can get it mapped directly into the ECU. I can do it if you want, by post or in person. Pumaspeed can also do it by post with a plug in module, but I think they will be twice my price, I charge £100 for a map, i can do it to suit later vehicles with the...

Fiesta in the Park 2018 - Sunday 13th May

I know, I’m sorry  There’s always something. The windscreen is unavoidable, it’s not because I was aiming for 6 million bhp, or because I was too aggressive with the mapping, it’s just sods law! The annoying thing is, I’d nearly completely took the donor screen out, I was on the final...

Fiesta in the Park 2018 - Sunday 13th May

I’m really Sorry, but I’m going to have to cancel, my windscreen is smashed on my car, I tried to get a replacement from a donor car but I managed to crack that one too. The window fitting company can’t get out to me until a week after the show. Please give my ticket to a deserving party :-(

I thought I’d already booked & paid, but I’ve just sent payment, if I’d already paid someone else can go for free :)

    1.7 Rev Limiter

Unplugging the speedo is not going to change anything (other then disabling the torque limiter & disabling the speedo). The restriction is RPM, if you want more speed, the simplest solution would be to change your 5th gear, my car will go up to 175 now (I don't have the balls to go there :? ) I...

    Ford Fair - 6th August 2017 - Silverstone

I decided not to jump the que's, and the result was my HCV popping from sitting stationary in traffic for so long! Thanks all for a great day out, me and Ellis had a great day! The time seemed to fly by, I think I was literally the last car to leave silverstone. 8-) Great job organising so...

Fiesta in the Park 2017 - Sunday 7th May

It's a good job someone with a lot more organisation then me is in charge here, or I'd be trying to arrange it all on the way to the event  Thanks Cherie, I'll message you shortly!

Fiesta in the Park 2017 - Sunday 7th May

Ok so I know I'm 2 weeks late, but if anybody drops out could I be considered as a back up. My car is built and I've driven 20 miles so far without breaking it.

Fiesta in the Park 2017 - Sunday 7th May

I'm going to try and get there, however, once again I pushed my car too far and broke it, so I'm building a new engine. Hopefully I'll be there

    FRP Duratec Turbo Project!

It's ok Dal, I know a guy with a new RS, parked next to him at ford fair  He don't know I put a tracker on his car and I'm going around later to 'Borrow' his engine 8-)

    FRP Duratec Turbo Project!

 That's the spirit mate!! Ok so I got a reply about the Darton sleeves. Firstly, as the crack is all the way through to the coolant gallery so I'd need a new block anyway. But the price for the Darton sleeves is £1900 plus shipping. So I'm looking at £2k for the work and I'd still have...

    FRP Duratec Turbo Project!

The crack must be all the way through to the coolant port, that's how the coolant was getting into the cylinder, and how the coolant leaked into the sump. There isn't another viable ford option for me, the Zetec is a great engine but it's too heavy for what I want, the duratec can't handle the...
