So how does the car pick up it has a chip? if the key is broke but chip ok surely the no transponder key with the chipped fob near it should work??

I have a key that has the red chip and starts the car and I have a key without .that only opens doors and doesn't start the vehicle if I broke my "red" key is there anyway I can start it with the other one I hear if its in range or taped to column it might work??
