PROGRESS!!!
I spent this afternoon stripping the interior completely.
Check out the custom relocated window switch mod, using the main support bracket for the door card.
Now off to try and convince my local tip that this constitutes "domestic" waste.
Mondeo calipers and Focus ST170 discis ordered. £43 and £48. Need to order bolts and a correctly size drill bit for the conversion.
And pads obviously. Recommendations on pads for a track day Puma?
Yellow stuff? or another coloured Stuff? :o
I want to remove any element of tinting to my track Puma.
Is this possible?
Do the windows use a film to tint them or is it built into the glass in some way?
What about the black surround to the rear windows?
I don;t doubt your knowledge for one sec, but I beg to differ. Mainly rubbing the wheel liners which are going anyway. You may turn out to be right. If so, I am 100 yards from a National Tyres luckily.
Just checked prices and hopefully it won't come to that. £100/corner.
Do you mean because of the rivets? I would just drill the rivet out and use a nut bolt afterwards.
Also is that your Puma in your signature? Looks like a track car too. Did you make a build thread?
Test fitted the arches today.
They look damn good in my opinion.
They suit the puma lines well.
Need to trim the metal arches and a bit of the front bumper then drill and rivet the arches.
Front wheels fitted now too. They rub the liner and the front bumper. Not even lowered it yet!
Need to perform a little surgery with the reciprocating saw.
Stay tuned...
P.S. Before anyone says it yes I know it looks much better with the Ford rims on, but I have to prioritise grip over looks...
Hi Rob,
Yes i will take old Angela the angle grinder to them. She is a great lass.
I test fit one of the 16" rims last night. They don't look as nice as the Fords but fill the arch immensely, and much wider too. See pics...
This weekend i should get round to lowering the car and fitting the...
Springs arrived today.
Collected wheels from eBay seller. £80 with almost new rubber. With full size spare.
Now to clean, spray white and test fit.
Pretty sure I need to buy new wheel nuts to fit these rims, with flat face.
OK so here we go...
This will be a gradual build so please excuse the slowness of updates. Between having a busy job and young child I am going to be fitting in the time where I can.
some of you may have seen my newbie area post already.
I have bought a Puma for £205 via eBay action. Result...

I am building a track-only Puma and therefore need to remove the AC system.
Any tips?
I tried searching but the search function is producing an error message.
I have heard people say that the PS pump must be moved to where the AC currently is.
