Heating knob, AC button, Recirculation button and clock digits have stopped working.

@Yog Edit: after looking through the fuse box, turns out it was just a faulty 10A burnt fuse! Thanks for your help 😊!

Heating knob, AC button, Recirculation button and clock digits have stopped working.

Was wondering if anyone know how this can be fixed? Maybe a blown fuse? My heater control valve knob, AC button and recirculation button have stopped functioning. Also the clock has stopped displaying the time. Feel like a fuse or two might need replacing? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in...

Loss of acceleration and popping sound!

Yes, I'm thinking it's a bad scuttle panel as well as the buzzing sounds like it's coming from the dash. I've also discovered that the rubber that's underneath the scuttle panel seems to have moved from it's original position. (Worn glue perhaps) gonna give it a go repositioning it. Thanks for...

Loss of acceleration and popping sound!

No, the sound happens when the car is moving and starts at 2k, it doesn't happen always only during harsh accelerations. I've noticed that the airbox itself isn't properly placed on the rubber bushing I believe, maybe that might cause the buzzing sound? Dunno. I've also noticed a knocking...

Loss of acceleration and popping sound!

UPDATE: Changing the coil pack has fixed the problem, no more backfiring issues. However, when I accelerate, between 2 and 3000 rpm. These is a buzzing sound, no loss in acceleration anymore but there's a buzzing sound in the 2-3000 rev range. I reckon it might be a bad intake airbox, because as...

Loss of acceleration and popping sound!

Hi there everyone! I've recently encountered a problem with my Puma, the car whilst accelerating hesitates and makes a "popping" sound, I think it might be backfiring? When the car is stationary and in neutral, it doesn't make any pops and revs fine, only in gear under acceleration it hesitates...

Need help in identifying this leak.

All right cheers for all the advice, I guess I'll just have to get used to the temperature gauge dancing up and down during commutes then.

Need help in identifying this leak.

Did what you guys suggested, used the aluminium foil method, the temp guage still increases. Took it for a cruise, noticed that at 1300-3000 rpm is roughly when the temperature rises. When I rev it beyond 3000, that's when the temperature drops. This is really getting on my nerves. Any...

Need help in identifying this leak.

UPDATE: I'm getting tired of dealing with the airlocks by squeezing the radiator hose since it seems to go away and then randomly come back so I'm wondering if there is any quick process on taking air off the system?

Need help in identifying this leak.

UPDATE: Can confirm it's an air lock issue :ok: . Squeezed the radiator hose whist loosening the expansion cap. When squeezing the hose, I could feel bubbles and could see the bubbles and coolant rising and falling in the expansion tank.

Need help in identifying this leak.

UPDATE: :-( Ever since the housing has been replaced, day by day, the car's temp gauge started behaving more and more erratically. For example: Today I was on my daily commute to uni, the car's temp gauge started increasing like crazy and was really close to the red region as I was on the A2...

Need help in identifying this leak.

UPDATE!! Everyone thanks a lot for all the help and support, I've changed the thermostat housing. The car runs fine, no leaks. Only small concern is that when driving at really low speeds or idling parked after a 12 mile typical drive from work, the temperature needle creeps slightly beyond the...

Need help in identifying this leak.

I'll try and replace the thermostat housing myself, after doing some research, it seems to be a straightforward job of removing the headlight, alternator and then detaching and replacing the housing below. Oh and of course draining the coolant and refilling with new coolant. Any further advice...

Need help in identifying this leak.

After even further inspection, I believe that the problem as you all have pointed out seems to be the thermostat housing. Here's an even better image of the leaking region below.
