I’m especially impressed with the steering wheel controls for your alpine stereo. I have been hoping to do something similar. Was it easy to do? Do you think I would struggle as someone with no prior experience with cars?

It seems everybody I know has more car knowledge than me. I even went to my friends house the other day and his wife who works at the bank was schooling me on how brakes work! :oops: How did everybody gain their knowledge of cars? Is it just trial and error or do you do it as a profession...

Sorry I’m new to all this. By twin airbag do you mean does it have a passenger airbag? In which case no. I’m pretty sure nothing is trapped but I can check if the wiring is alright on the recaros

Bloody hell Barry! There’s not a cat in hells chance I’m going to even attempt that! I know they’re not expensive cars but I don’t fancy burning it to the ground just yet :lol: is there no way I can trick the pretensioners into thinking they’re the originals?

Ahhh perfect! I did wonder if it was that but when I couldn’t find the height controls I just presumed it was something else! I too am taking up my carpet very soon so I will not plug this in atm. Are you doing sound proofing by any chance? Cheers

I bought some (very expensive) top hat risers off eBay which worked a treat. I unplugged the battery, fitted the seats and have plugged back in the yellow cables which I believe are seatbelt tensioners?? But now I have a strange wire left behind and I have no idea what it does. I don’t want to...

Haha no way! Full recaro interior popped up for £150. I made an offer of £100 but then I got antsy waiting for the response and decided just to pay the £150 instead :lol: I can tell that my impatience is going to cost me greatly with this build
