Thanks for the heads-up, red. Will keep that in mind. Might end up being too fiddly to make them match. Think I’ll be getting the scrap part and do a paint job, probably on both mirrors to keep them similar shades. Replacing the unit seems to be fairly straight forward.

The culprit has been found: Turns out it was indeed the alternator causing all the electrical issues. It’s been revised and everything seems to be working as it should, now. MOT has been scheduled early January. After that, we move on to styling the interior (finally!) 6315
