its all brand new top mounts when i changed the shocks and springs, could it be the mounts bedding in as they say?

has anyone gotta a picture of the rear spring reason im asking is that im breaking my puma after mot failure (not sure if im goinna fix or get a new one), but my g max springs on the rear creaked and im curious what the spring looks like. the bottom of the g max spring has really tight coils...

no its done it when cold and when ive been driving and engine temps normal, its annoying because the is no warning splutter or anything it jjust dies then can really struggle to start again.

my puma keeps dying me it started a couple of weeks ago it was normally after i first started her on a morning she would start and then cut out but after i started her again she ran no bother, now its happened a couple of times while im moving she just cuts out completly and struggles to start...

i bought the gmax shocks and springs kit for mine and they are really hard and the rear springs make a creaking noise i think its because the first 3 coils on the springs are so close together and rub, gonna change them for eibachs when i got my bodywork sorted out :grin:

in projectors like the puma they are fine but in a standard headlight they aint the beam pattern is all over the place so they will fail, if i remember right the gov guidelines say when hids are fitted with auto levelling and headlights washers they must work so the guy who does my car says it...

ive had hids in mine 4300k and 6000k and didnt like 6000k ones 4300k are better and they arent illegal yet it depends on how the bloke who does your mot judges your beam pattern, but my mate gave me some of these bulbs and they are really good for a non hid bulb :grin...

can i ask what this actually does for the puma?

almost if iys cheaper than £35 for a new 206 wing the bodyshop said they will cost :)

the adaptors are from a mk1 focus i got them from ebay in the states sent over for about a tenner, 2002 focus double din adaptor plates i think they were called :)

what do you guys advise in the size of spacers you can add, im thinking 20mm on the rear will ok but how will the car handle or will it put strain on the hubs if i put those eibach 15mm spacers on the front or what do you guys use on the front?

if you have abs can you fit these i could be interested if abs still works

guess your right :grin: im gonna call in the bodyshop for a price on how much to sort the rust out on my car if its under £500 i may keep it longer and go for a milltek at least the is a cat avalible for that system and they do pop up on ebay now and then.

they are about £165 delivered half the price of a milltek or piper manifold, plus my old focus's cat might fit the flange guess its worth a try :-)
