    Project Silver 1.4 -- UPDATE 5/11

The beginning of the end. I'm stepping out of the Puma loop indefinitely. Mine passed its MOT yesterday, and although it passed, it did have a few small advisorys, maybe £100's worth. But when I consider how much I've spent out already, it's time someone else took over, as the car has served...

    how to remove rear bushes

Holy sweet Jesus how the hell did you do this in your driveways?! Nearly 6 hours for me thanks to some rusty ABS connecters and wheel cylinders. I HATED it!

Is changing the infra red to radio an easy job? Or is it easier not to bother?

    Project Silver 1.4 -- UPDATE 5/11

Got some things I wanna get sorted this month. I get paid on the 21st so I'm gonna give it a full service - plugs, filters (possibly K&N), brake fluid, the lot. Also, the back bushes have gone so I'm gonna polybush it all round. The MOT is up on Thursday so I'm gonna keep it off the road until...

    LED's all round

Cheers jacko, if you find any good tail light ones let me know. All I've found so far are indicators, reverse lights and rear fogs.

    LED's all round

I've successfully sourced LED/Xenon lights for everywhere on my car except for an interior, boot, side repeaters and tail lights (brake lights sourced, not tail). I want the side repeaters to be smoked and LED, preferably the interior and boot to have a blue tint to them and obviously the tail...

    Wallowing/rubbing Noise - Help

Any update to this? I've got a strange noise from front N/S. Isn't the usual wheelbearing hum.

    Bit the bullet

Great thread, I've gotta ask about the 206 panels though - are they alse designed to collect water like the Pumas or is this a long term fix?

    FRP or Fiesta ST?

I already have a 1.4. I've been looking around a lot lately, and I think I want the FRP. They're stunning to look at and the rarity is a huge draw. And if I had an FRP I wouldn't modify it, keep it original, not for fear of pissing off the purists but because I don't want to spoil it. My 1.4 is...

Are you sure it's leaking? Is there any on the road?

    FRP or Fiesta ST?

Not yet, I will closer to the time. It seems that you buy an ST with your head but an FRP with your heart, right?
  15. Shade

    FRP or Fiesta ST?

True. I'm looking at them both and the ST just has no soul. The FRP though, maybe too much soul :)

    Project Silver 1.4 -- UPDATE 5/11

Yeah mate its really easy to use, the big silver button gets you into each menu really simply. As for the 6x9s, they arent wired up yet - the parcel shelf was already cut when I bought the car. I like your idea better, think ill do that and buy a new parcel shelf, cheers mate :D

What's the damage? Now with more photos!

Check the CV joint, if thats ok then the driveshaft should be. You're probably looking at new track rod end, and as above a wishbone and lower arm. Steering racks are tough though so I wouldn't worry about that. And make sure you get the wheel re-balanced and tracked mate.

    Possible Wheel Bearing Issue?
