Would FRP brakes fit in standard propeller wheels?

I had thunder wheels when I fitted ST150, fitted no problem I'm sure they'd fit behind the props also, quick search on the forums on here should confirm it

Would FRP brakes fit in standard propeller wheels?

St150 calipers and carriers what i'd recommend if you want to keep the props. Although the they can be relatively expensive as initial outlay - discs and pads aren't expensive I got coated genuine Ford discs and textar pads for a good price.

    New(ish) FRP Owner

If it is had work done on the body to keep the rust at bay then that's the main thing. All the other mechanical bits can get sorted one way or the other! Welcome to FRP ownership ;-)

    Gear linkage problem

Coolio... My brakes are due for some more magic time with you this year so probably makes sense to have a look at the old gear linkage then! 8-)

New Speeding Fines from April 24th

Probably all kinds of flaws to the following point so not a serious proposition but I do think there could be some merit in it: Be interesting to see speeding fines linked to the weight of the vehicle? Heavier the vehicle the more potential damage could be done? Would still hit D-heads in their...

    traction control

something doesn't sound right there all 3 of my Pumas did the "fart" test noise as they reached the test speed. I would have thought any problems with the sensor or the sensor ring would produce some kind of fault or the ABS wouldn't work and with it the TC would go also. I'm out of ideas sorry. :-(

    traction control

ummmm... Not every fault shows up on dash maybe stick it into a OBD II sensor check for any faults. Yeah the self test noise is very noticeable usually! Was it a rear sensor or a front sensor that was changed?

    traction control

must be the 1.4 that doesn't have it. Same rule still applies; it is not very effective... I think the only time I've felt it kick was at a very slow speed on slippery mud gravel surface. Tyres are key but I think you may still find you get some wheel spin.
  18. C

    traction control

I don't think the 1.6 has the traction control system (I could be mistaken). Not that it makes too much difference anyway... Your best bet in terms of helping with wheel spin in the wet is probably to fit something like uniroyal rainsport tyres or michelins as they tend to be decent in the wet...

    good priced oil at wilko

The Formula F stuff is produced by Ford I believe it was developed in partnership Castrol, the ford engines it is designed to work with include the sigma family of engines. My oil gets changed every 6 months with this stuff. You can pay a higher price but will it work any better than Ford's...

    Pumabuild - no response?

They can be a little slow with stuff sometimes from what some other users have said. I've always found them to be quick to respond and dispatch things. give them a call tomorrow and ask if Alan is available to speak to, I'm sure there'll be a reason they haven't sent it out yet.
