Got mine and they've been on a couple weeks now, very happy with them and a bargain aswell. I found the old ones didn't want to come off in a hurry so used brute force, luckily they came off before I damaged anything lol.

Scubasteve is spot on as per usual, my old xr2i used to do it, my pumas old gearbox also did this and the new gearbox does it a little but not as much. Ive decided to live with it.

I'm running the 280mm mk2 mondeo's with prop alloys and they are a pretty snug fit. Cost me £30 for the calipers, and the pads and discs were pretty cheap off ebay. Hardest bit of the conversion was getting the old calipers off as the bolts were rounded off and rusted solid.

I'm at 126k, no engine work yet apart from the usual servicing/cambelt changes and a new rocker gasket. Don't know how many more years it will go for but it still pulls well, is pretty quiet and generaly behaves itself. Touch wood lol

Cheers for the info steve, its hard to tell if I'm using more fuel as a result as I changed the gearbox over to a 1.4 so I'm dealing with shorter ratios aswell which is affecting the fuel. Not as much as I was expecting though. I will keep an eye on it though.
