Looks to me like it has some pretty bad rust on the rear arches, and looks like its been repaired, maybe with filler, which could be hiding a lot of rust. Its not so easy to see in photos, but that is the area I would concentrate on when looking at it. What you can do is, pull back the rear...

Some fiestas came without power steering and had a bigger steering wheel, I think also the Ka has a bigger steering wheel since some of those also came without power steering.

I think the main area to be wary of is the rear inner sills. If there are holes there, then it lets water get all the way down the sills and rusts them from the inside out. Its what killed my old puma. You can feel for holes in the area just in front of the rear wheel, behind the sill, its like...

I like your puma how it is tbh Dave, its almost like a sleeper. Wide arches look nice, but I'm not sure how much handling or grip they add, so I think its mostly just for looks. One of the downsides is where the puma shines, is where the wide arches make it a pain, like country lanes, every time...
