After reading everything that you've checked, I think it is the driveshafts being different lengths as that was in my head before I started to read the post. Unless somebody knows anything else I think that's the only answer. Is it under gentle acceleration as well or just hard?

Tell me about it! I lose brakes just on a little play in my wife's but don't tell her lol. It is great for the twisties though.

Some seat manufacturers do car specific ones. I just googled it and came up with a Corbeau one but sure the likes of Cobra/Sparco do them as well. Just depends whether your seat will fit nicely onto them.

I only really do Fordfair and RS National Day. Think they're worth going to. Might do Coombe this time as well.

No I get where you're coming from but it's the bends that I get the buzz from and to spend an afternoon stripping it to bits is a bit extreme for me but fair play if that's your thing. Plus I'll probably have the missus next to me screaming to slow down anyway at first lol.

Agree and disagree to an extent with what you've put Paul. Without sounding funny because I don't mean to be and I appreciate your input and I like the spacers and tyre thoughts thanks but I don't get why people go to the effort of weight reduction for daily/track day cars. Fully blown racing...

IMO my wife's is pretty firm so going to coilovers would make it too hard for commuting. Probably been spoilt with the ST. thanks for the heads up on the sliders. Anyone help on the brakelines please?

If it's just for road use, leave it alone. The fact is Manufacturers invest a lot of time and money into handling and ride, so what they produce is in their opinion the best all round package.

After experienced track drivers' thoughts please. After driving my better half's Puma, I have decided to get rid of my ST24 and get a 1.7 for myself, I'm fed up with being on first name terms with all the local petrol stations! I will be using it as my daily commute and be tracking it about 6/8...
