Can't get head unit out - what am I doing wrong?

Please don't laugh - I've never worked on ICE before. I can't get my standard Ford head unit out. It should be the simplest of jobs. I've bought the special tool to do the job; two 'U' shaped metal clips. I've pushed them into the slots, and made sure they're driven right in. Should the head unit simply pull out now? Is there some trick to this?

Push both the clips outwards then it'll just slide out

It worked a treat :grin: I pulled the keys outwards (towards the doors) and the unit slipped straight out.
