dive ecu on ph1 loom

hi everyone,i have swap my 1.4 for the 1.7 and i have a dive ecu on a ph1 loom did i need to reverse the pin 75 and 80 ? car run fine but i think vct don't work all the time

Pins 75 and 80 are used just for the temp gauge on the instrument cluster

Well they are for the loom connecting to the PCM (ECU) but the purpose for moving a wire connection from pin 75 to 80 is to keep the functionality of the temp gauge on instrument cluster. Why Ford has changed in the first place beats me as on looms that use pin 80 the 75 is blank and vice versa; the ones using 75 have 80 blank so it could have stayed as it was.....?
