Hi all, my name is Ken K, my wife and I were at Ragley Hall Classic show yesterday (lovely day for it) and were parked next to Puma enthusiast John W.
He told me all about this Puma Forum - and so 'here I am'
I bought my 2000 1.7 Puma last Sept. and really enjoying it. It's done just 45,500 miles and has had just one previous owner from new. It's radiant red.

Welcome to the Group Ken, it was really good to meet you both yesterday, we're both looking forward to seeing you again soon.
Your Puma is outstanding by the way and had a lot of interest yesterday.

Hi John, thanks very much. I've tested the conductivity of the boot strut by the way, it worked with a torch bulb, but maybe there's too much resistance for the centre brake light to work? I'll test it next with a new wire bridging the gap between top and bottom of strut. (I'm no auto electrician!) Cheers, and thanks once again.

Hi Ken, it earths through the hinges, not the 4 connectors that I said yesterday !
The connection at both ends of the strut need to tighten and clean, maybe the black paint is causing a connection problem. If you use a length of cable to bypass the strut, the 4 lamps should light up.

This is me and my wife, and Puma in this week's Classic Car Weekly. Pictured at the Impney Estate Coffee and Chrome on 9th June at Droitwich. Incidentally, the only Puma!
Excellent, we went to the one at Gaydon earlier in the year and we were the only one there. At Rustival at Gaydon in March, I think we had 4 Puma's there.
