Sadly, the time has come for me to move on from the world of the Puma...it's time for me to say goodbye to the car I have cherished for the past 6 (and a bit) years :-(

Here I have for sale my red Ford Puma 1.7.

Basic Information:

Registered 4th January 1999 on an 'S' plate.
Mileage currently sitting at 80k

I am the third owner and have owned the car since July 2005.
Taxed and MOT'd until December 2011

Lux pack - aircon, heated windscreen/mirrors, etc.
Full Ford and Specialist service history.

Modifications:

The car is currently sitting on 17" Kei Racing Force 10 alloy wheels. Good condition, but may need a refurb in the next year or two. Tyres are Toyo T1-R's at the front; T1-S's at the rear.
I also have the original 'propeller' style alloy wheels, in excellent condition - all fitted with new Continental Premicontact 2 tyres.
Fiesta ST150 front brake conversion (280mm) with Mintex Pads. These were refurbed and given the full FRP Alcon treatment by Eldude last year (bead-blasted and painted). New brake lines were also fitted at this time. I also have the original brakes if the next owner should need/want them.

Milltek cat-back stainless steel exhaust system.
G-Max Full Suspension Kit - lowers the car by 30mm
Fully Poly-bushed all round (except ARB)

K&N Panel Filter
Smoked side repeaters (original orange ones will be included)
Blue LED interior conversion
Puma logo embossed kick-plates, deluxe mats and tax disc holder.
Brand new Headlight units fitted August 2009.

The car has been used as a second car for the past 4 and a half years, garaged 99% of the time. It has also been dry-stored over the winter months. In this time, it has only been driven in dry, warm conditions, and never intentionally taken out in wet weather. As a result, the underside of the car is not as bad as other cars of the same age.

The car has immaculate paintwork, the only downside to this being the stone-chips on the bonnet. The interior is also immaculate, with the mats only being used for shows and special occasions. The car is machine polished every year, so it has minimal swirl marks. The car took part in concours at Ford Fair this year, so I feel that says it all about the car's condition.

It benefits from having the rear arches cut out and replaced so there is no rust in this common area. This was done in May 2008 at a cost of £500. The paint-match is perfect - I refused to drive the car home until I was 100% happy.

The cambelt, water pump, rocker cover gasket and auxiliary belt were replaced in June 2010 year at a cost of £400. The car had a major service at the end of May 2011. Car is 100% mechanically sound.

The car comes with a fully documented service history. I have a folder full of work carried out, invoices, receipts, etc. I also have the sale paperwork from Ford to myself, and all show memorabilia and some Puma memorabilia also. No expense has been spared on this car, as the service history will prove.

I'm sure, and I'm hoping, that most people on here can vouch for the condition of this car and how it's been looked after and cared for.

The private numberplate - M8 PUM - will be included in the sale. I still have the original plates should the next owner need them.

Although the car is in fantastic condition, and has had all the major work carried out, I am also trying to be realistic for the age of the car.

Priced to sell - £1300.

Car is located in Mountsorrel, Leicestershire, and is available for viewing immediately.
