Old Ford Rally 21/07/24

Had a great day at The Old Ford rally at Gaydon museum today with 8 of us in Puma's. It was a really good turnout for our 2nd. year attending this event, everyone seemed to enjoy the day.
Hopefully we can attend again next year.
A big thank you to all Puma owners that made the effort to attend, some for their first event.

The next Gaydon Gathering will be on Tuesday 13th. August, a very different type of event, just any type of car, where entry is free, but you need to book, attendance is normally several hundred cars of all makes and models.

Eight Pumas, that' s quite a turn out. Would have liked to have been there - next time I hope. Probably make the Tuesday event.

Thanks Paul, I really enjoyed meeting all the other people, obviously I know Kevin and his rally Puma, Dave with his FRP and Rob and Jo with the silver Thunder, as they are all Gaydon Gathering and Hooky regulars.
The other silver Puma, that they purchased last month, might have to be sold apparently, so I've heard from Steve this evening.

Sorry couldn't make this one, Puma was having her long overdue cambelt change and couldn't collect her from Essex and make it to Gaydon on the same day!
Great to see an improvement on last year's 5 Pumas.
Looking forward to Hook Norton next month and maybe Gaydon but difficult as have to get there from work on Tuesdays which is unfortunately a long way South of Gaydon!

This was my first Puma event and I look forward to attending another. A Tuesday is actually better for me than a Sunday but I would like to go to whichever will have the most of us and the ability to park together -- could we make a meeting point beforehand and then arrive together in order to get spots next to each other? XX

Meeting up is difficult, as quite a few people don't arrive until after they've finished work, sometimes in the past Sarah(Cubatoo) and Kevin with the rally Puma don't arrive until after 6pm or even later, I try to get there by 5pm and if I know people are coming I try and save spaces for them, but it's not easy, as it gets very busy, sometimes over a 1000 cars of all types and makes. The area we parked for the Old Ford rally, is used for normal cars, so that's not an option.
