So here we have an advert from the future…the car is not ready to sell yet but this is why I have the ad up now, think of it like choosing the options on a new car :-D

I am very reluctant to sell my pride and joy but for personal reasons unfortunately it has to go

So here are the good points:
-Full Leather Recaro interior from a Millennium edition puma (fronts will be restored before sale)
-15 Spoke wheels from Thunder edition puma (no dents or scuffs), with new Toyo Proxis T1-R tyres. The spare wheel is a 9 spoke millie wheel instead
of a steely.
-Brembo Drilled, grooved and vented from discs – about 1 year old.
-New EBC Yellowstuff front pads. Spare set of standard road front pads.
-High performance DOT5.1 fluid in brake and clutch lines.
-Full set of 9 spoke Millennium edition alloy wheels with new Hankook winter tyres.
-K&N E-1009 induction filter
-OMP front strut braces; upper and lower.
-APEX suspension coils
-Straight through centre exhaust section (sounds lovely; quiet during normal driving but sporty when you put your foot down). This and the rear silencer are about a year old.
-All suspension bushes changed about a year ago.
-New clutch about a year old; this is an LuK clutch unit, no cheap stuff here.
-Radio less than a year old with Bluetooth hands-free connectivity, AUX input, USB input, line out for SUB woofers if you would like to install them.
-Interior boot release switch installed (most puma owners will appreciate
how useful this is).
-She will come with 12 months tax and MOT

Outstanding work:
Engine replacement – booked in with to be replaced in the next month
Rear aches – will be done once the engine is replaced
Having the leather on the front seat restored so they look good as new
All of this work is being done highly reputable professionals.

I understand that there is a lot of work outstanding on this car but trust me it will be immaculate once complete. The outstanding work can be seen as
an opportunity if you are interested in this car and would like to personalise it before buying this will be possible. For example I have a 1.7 engine lined up but if you would like a 2.0L duratec then I can source
one of these and have this fitted instead, or if you would like FRP cams and a 4-2-1 exhaust manifold adding then I will make it happen, full coil-over suspension, bigger brakes…whatever you want I can make it happen just send me a PM and we can discuss.

If I carry on with my current plan to get a good 1.7 engine in and sort the arches out I will be looking for £2200; some people may think this is optimistic but with the quality of this car it is definitely justified. If
you are interested or have any advice then feel free to PM me.

I am near Huddersfield.

Does anyone think I the car would be worth more if it was all completely standard?

The replacement engine is paid for and being picked up this week :eek:k:

Fully respect what you have done with this car mate and I'm sure it's a great spec.
But...modifying a car means making personal choices and putting your own stamp on it so I think your 'market' is going to be limited.
Just my opinion, but I'm thinking that all the work you are planning to do will be done with a view of it being sold anyway so although done correctly would not be done with the care or more importantly the passion as if it were your own 'keeper'.
For that sort of asking price I would be looking for a very low mileage, FSH, one or two owner car in immaculate original condition.
Good luck with it :)
