Hi
I am trying to replace a water pump on my daughter's car. It's a 1.7 aircon Puma.
I'm following the excellant how-to, but this car has aircon and I can't get the timing belt cover off. All bolts are out but it looks like the top rear pulley has to go (power stearing I believe). Any idea how to remove the pulley, or seperate the pump from the engine, to get clearance.

I'm not doing this at home so only have about a hour of daylight before I have to give up...

Thanks for the help

Thanks for the quick reply Kieran

Had another look last night. The Idler was aready off but there was no way the cover was comming off.

I resolved this by loosening the 3x13mm nuts & 1x10mm bolt that secure the PAS pump bracket to the block. The PAS pump could then be moved back enough to get the cover off and back on again. The job is almost complete now, just waiting for a belt to be delivered today to complete assembly.

I've updated the 'How To' with the above info.
