Hi,my alarm fob has stopped working properly. I've replaced batteries but still not working. The red light on the fob comes on, albeit very lightly with a hard press. Also, the car alarm started going off when i opened the door, even though the engine was still running! Any ideas or advice?

this is happening to me too!

my key fob got wet and it wont work the car ever since, i took it to the Ford Garage and the mechanic said he thinks its a prob with the alarm, i ended up just disconnecting the alarm.

It's under the carpet in the drivers footwell next to the door (top plug).

hope ya get it sorted

Cheers! Will have to do that me thinks, started going off at 4am yesterday for no reason and wouldnt stop!
 
Your key fob will need replacing, about £90 from ford + reprogramming

the wifes did it and after a new one it was ok :)
