If your 1.6 is like the 1.7 then it doesn't attach to the door cards. Underneath the seat in the front left/right corners are two U-shaped clips. These fit into two corresponding slots in the metal frame below and then you bang down on the corners with the flat of your hand on the top of the seat, to secure it in position.steplce said:
To remove the seat, just gently use a prising bar in those corners to ease the seat up.
