Drivers door window seals

Hi I'm a newbie just got my Ford Puma having problem closing drivers door window , the rubber has developed a kink as it goes up the rubber is pushing up stopping the window closing has anyone else had this ? & any ideas on how to correct it

Wind the window down / spray on to a cloth and apply to all the exterior rubber surfaces of the car. I also wipe a liberal amount on the underside of the rubber area that you are talking about.

After a few times of using it you will find that the problem goes away.

Frame rubber can be replaced, fair strip down to access the whole thing but otherwise not a massive job.

Thanks everyone , job done , took a bit longer than I thought as had to take door card off ...but perfect now

i need to replace mine to as it has a kink at the top, is it hard to replace?

Quite hard needed two of us have to take off door card & backing take strip out & straighten it & make sure the two bits are on the bottom to stop it pulling up if not you need to stick it in the bottom so it won't pull up I didn't have to replace it also get autoglym rubber & trim spray to soften rubber it took an hour & half but it's all working ok now , hope this helps

sounds like a nightmare job, its kinked/pinched at the top but its not letting water in

Mine was kinked/ pinched at top but window wouldn't go right up so had to be done , yours doesn't seem as bad , good luck

still closes ok, just had to replace the window regulator thou

mine was kinked..and window wouldn't come all the way up to the seal.
Sprayed the window rubbers,and rubber seals several time with loads of silicone spray..and now the window flys up and down,seals fine and the kink has folded out by itself.
