Re-programming key

Postby Crackers » Wed Mar 01, 2017 10:18 pm

I got a key from a Puma 2000 with a blank blade which I've had cut and works fine, it's a 3 button key which I want to re-programme for my 1999 Puma. However, it's just not working. I've followed the instructions in the handbook which are consistent with viewtopic.php?t=39 and it's just not working. I have 2 keys one of which is a 3 button and the other a 0 button which both work to start the engine. I've just put the battery back after recharging. The key was fully operational on it's previous vehicle and hadn't been erased.

Anybody got any ideas on how to get this working?

To start the engine or to work the remote locking?

Sounds like it already starts the car.

Are you doing it fast enough? I know when I first had a go I was much to slow with the ignition turns.
