Needles

My puma 1.4 has developed a strange affliction. When I turn the ignition on, all the needles on the dashboard fly round to the right, stay there for a couple of seconds and then return to rest.
Any ideas as to what could cause this please.

Usually, the battery is duff.

As Yog said, battery, mine did the same, got new one and that solved the issue

hi, thanks all, trickle charged the battery and it has cured the needle problem.

Looks like a battery on the horizon.
