My second puma. Bought for £995 with around 70k on the clock bought 4 years ago.

The day I got it I drove it to OC Motorsport to get an eBay second hand bargain Piper manifold, sports cat and exhaust system. It cost just shy of £600 fitted.

Had a lovely pop and crackle when you lifted the accelerator off at high revs. Wasn't too overbearing as many cars can sound. Wound up selling it to a former work colleague. It was his second puma. His first was black and he had the Piper system fitted himself. It's what made me want to buy my first puma. One trip with him down the A14 and I bought a puma within a month.

Before that was my Saab 9-5. I nearly bought another before getting the puma. But the one I test drove had electrical issues (like my current Focus) and a plume of white smoke when I gave it some beans on the test drive which made me think potential turbo issues. Beautiful and understated cars though. I'd love a 99 or 900 turbo if ever I got the chance. Also the 9000 Carlsson has a lovely air about it too.

Fastest car I've owned to date. Strangely even with all it's speed and great handling it felt a little lifeless. Could be because it's a new car and on the whole I'm more nostalgic when it comes to cars. Modern cars can look lovely from the outside or be fast and economical. But it's not going to compare to cars from my childhood, which are also so much more affordable.
